Yes, we might be, but that's how, and who, we are. We were created this way, with freakishly thick ample rapidly-growing facial hair. Yes we may be weird, yes we may be freaks, yes we may be objects of ridicule. You happy? I thought this place, a place about shaving would better understand our malady, I thought this a place where we might be accepted - even venerated for our hirsute capabilities. But you're as bad as the rest of them.

Actually I doubt it.

I've had the closest most BBS shave in the morning and by late afternoon the shadow is there.

My hairdresser comments almost every time on my 'strong' hair and will not allow apprentices to cut it lest they be scarred for life.

My facial hair is the same, coarse and strong, although still dark so by sunset it needs another mow for an evening event. Not super critical but to get to what we would consider a quality result.

Actually Ybbor is correct.

I think the hair molecules are sufficiently terrified by the sight of the straight the growth slows down. They know what's coming if the set about a growth spurt.

It's like tall poppy syndrome

Always scary, the first shave with an SE razor, particularly after spending nearly two months with one DE blade which got pretty mindless in the end. Have to watch yourself. Not sure why @gthomas04 uses an SE for his first pass in that daft method of his as the first pass with an SE doesn't remove as much as one done with a DE. It's the second and any follow ups that make an SE shine. I've noticed he's stopped "method shaving", so maybe he's seen the light,,,,finally.
