Hey.. I'm still alive... Barely! lol.... Been bustin my chops all weekend cooking up some new soaps.... I call it my "Small Batch" as it's exactly that... 65g pucks which can be purchased by themselves OR with a 100ml tin, so you have space to load up your brushes!
I have some bigger PLASTIC tubs on the way as well (tomorrow hopefully) and 100g moulds for bigger soaps.
Seeing it was requested, I have also made some Bay Rum soaps (of which I've taken one for myself). I will also be renaming some of my products to the more traditional names eg. Black Beard = Bay Rum...

For the record, yes I was wearing a top, however, for a price..... lol...

Damn, I was trying to create the impression I got you banned to some remote archipelago in order to gender some fear rather than the usual PJ piss take.

My first shave with a synthetic and a @Barrister & Mann soap. The brush is incredibly soft and yet it whipped up an impressive lather in no time. Will need to try with other soaps before I call this puppy a winner. The slickness and scent of this fougere soap is definitely a winner. Even though the Aromatique is a LE special, the ingredients are identical, with the exception of the essential oils, to their mainstream offerings so I would not hesitate in recommending B&M to you all.

Mikes Soaps has a worthy contender on his hands.

Brush: Mühle 25mm synthetic.
Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat.
Blade: Feather (1).
Razor: Mühle R41
Balm: Geo. F. Trumper Coral Skin Food.

Two passes for DFS, without any bloodletting!

Brush: Vulfix 2233
Razor: Rocket HD
Blade: French Gillette
Soap: Shaverheaven Sweeney Todd
A/S: Aqua Velva and 444

P74 @20.
Afforded myself the luxury of a hot water shave tonight as wifebert was taking an age in the shower.
Nice, and very close but I think the P74 is on it's last legs now.
The aqua velva was a little bit bracing afterwards.
I did have a @borked style 4 passer because there was so much lather left over though so maybe that was why?

Too much information. Getting weirder. Next thing there'll be home made videos of topless members shaving. Yuk.
Would you rather that, or topless women face shaving... (shudders)

BOT, I shaved, it was goodah.
Shedomatic shedded as usual, the slant is growing upon me, the vintage polsilvers are superb and the Nannys is superb too.

I wouldn't go that far, just at this moment, until it's been passed fully on my other soaps. However, this thing has a lot of upside if it does turn another hard soap like MWF into a good lather.

How did the synthetic go lathering up the fat? Was it more difficult being a harder soap?

Brush: Aesop (STF2) 23mm synth
Soap/Cream: Occams
Razor: Standard
Blade: Personna Blue [2]
After-shave: Floid Vigoroso

Not as nice a shave this time around with the Standard. Not sure if it was the razor, blade, karmic resonance, prep, lather, etc. I reckon the Antesol I used Saturday helped more than I realised….tomorrow Antesol both ends and we'll see.

…I'm going to try this exact shave myself soon…albeit a 23mm STF2….and maybe not the Feathers, please not the Feathers. Though @Mark1966 also says the R41 and Feathers work well. Hmmm...

FTFY

Soap: Panama Boellis
Brush: Emperor Manchurian
Razor: ASD2
Blade: gillette yellow 3rd shave
Finish: gf Trumper skin food

The Boellis is a no fuss mans man shaving soap. It excels whilst being very simple and true to tradition. Similar in scent to cella although more purer as it has a standalone almond scent.
