Yeah it wasn't me that sent those blades. I guess us west Aussies all look the same to him @Pjotr
Very shallow gene pool in the West I suspect - disadvantage you all look alike - advantage your all probably related to Gina Rheinhart :)

Anyway on to the shave. In all honesty, and all my posts are a paragon of honesty, this should really be under the shave of yesterday heading - but we aint got one of those so I will put it here instead.

Getting bored with the Tabac and it appears I will never make any impression on the size of the puck - I reckon I will still be using it when I have been in my grave for 20 years. I cast a glance around the bathroom and spotted a stick of Erasmic. Been a long time and I had forgotten what it was like. Wet the face a scrubbed the stick around - from appearances very little transferred from the stick to my face. However when I approached my face with the brush the Erasmic molecules spontaneously burst into a lovely thick rich lather - no need to touch the brush to the face simply wave it around close and the Erasmic does the rest.

Last shave with the Indian Wilkinson (four I think) and the next shave will be with an English Wilk courtesy of PJ.

This morning I changed the lineup completely.

Semogue 1800 Boar
Bakelite "Pete Speshal" with Gillette Black 7 O'Clock
TOBS Shaving Shop Cream

Not a terrible shave, I think I need to work out the angle of the razor.

TOBS Shaving Shop Cream

Second shave with this lineup.

Stubble...bad shave..this razor is not for me, it's too mild. Barely feels like I have anything touching my skin.

Damn there goes another potential fellow Philistine bakelite razor shaver. I feel so alone!

yesterday was English wilk (2 shaves) in Merkur Babrber pole with Body shop Macca root soap. What can I say lather up to my elbows and a close smooth finish. These blades are very good.

Gave the Bakelite the flick this morning.
I need a better shave than it provided, so I used the long handled super adjustable @Pjotr loaned me.
I used my new Semogue 1800 (awesome handle) which has bloomed out well after a couple uses.
The last of my TOBS Splice Cream :(
Using an English Wilks on its fifth shave.

A lovely result compared to the Bakelite Bungle of 2014 and smooth merry cheeks for me.

Finished with some Joop Thrill.

Nice to see that you threw the Silly Plastic Utensil (TM) away.
Had a shave yesterday, the English Wilk was transferred into the Pureman OC Proto & lathered up with Proraso Green. Good shave.

Howz that possible? Either the blade's a dud or your Fatboy's out of whack.

The Fatty is fine, the fact the new razor is an Open Comb versus a safety bar I am guessing is the reason.

It shaved both sides, although I am patchy in some spots. Suggests that one side of the blade is a bit shorter than the other.

Surprised with this bluebird.
Has managed three shaves in a slim adjustable.
Must be the Arko !

To which I've a theory, if one was to Frankenstein it with a stick of Speick, it would be intriguing to see what olfactory difference it would maketh and indeed, if it would be more agreeable.
