Rooney Emillion
Old Spice Soap
OCMM
Gem Blade
Floid Blue AS

First try of the OS soap. Great stuff and lathers like a dream. Took a while to get the OCMM angle back after so long not using it but got a very nice shave in the end.

Standard Razor
voskhod (semi blunt)
TOBS lime soap
Omega Boar
Myrsol Metisol

Had a very sleepy shave tonight. No blood but pretty uncomfortable.
Metilsol fixed it right up. Huge burn but in less than a minute nice and cool relief.
Wow that's surprising, I found the Standard very smooth and efficient. Do you think it the Voshkod?

With so many artisans and enablers your side of the pond, I'm surprised you have to stoop so low as to use that cream.

Been a bit quiet on posting my daily - mainly as I have been getting some pretty nasty irritation and I am thinking it is the soap. Anyhow, belated one from yesterday....

Razor: E1 Fatboy @ 5
Blade: Spoiler (3)
Brush: Plissitane
Soap/Cream: @Barrister & Mann 'Ferox'
Post: not required (y)

With the warmer day in Sydney I decided to jump back to Ferox and get the first 'warmer weather' shave under the belt. Great stuff as always, simply cannot fault any of the B&M soaps on performance or user-friendliness. I am sure there is always room for improvement, but I am just not sure how. That's why Will makes soaps, and I run a forum.

Preshave: @Draco Noir preshave oil
Razor: Edwin Jagger DE89L
Blade: Platinum Lux
Brush: Semogue 1305
Soap: Musgo Real Classic
Post Shave: Thayers Witch Hazel Lemon followed by EDP Burberry London
Sunday shave of the day. Three pass shave all that is necessary. Had a little Martin de Candre left in the bowl so rather than waste it I just lathered it in with the Musgo Real. The lather was sensational. Now I am not sure if it was the Musgo Real or the Marin de Candre or the combination. Beautiful lather and a BBS result.

@unobtainium81, at the risk of being pilloried for being a colonial and therefore part of a global conspiracy to mutilate the Queen's English, would you be kind enough to do a little acronym expansion? I can't seem to locate 3P and OCMM on my digital Rosetta Stone

Oh dear @Dale.Whiley,

John Wayne rode through my bathroom this morning. Well I could certainly imagine it with the brilliant leather scent of Desperado floating around the room. This really has become my wife's favourite scent. I smell leather vests and saddles; she smells new handbags and shoes.

If She Who Must Be Obeyed smells too many handbags and shoes, she may turn into an Imelda Marcos on you. Imagine all the money you couldn't spend on shaving toys if she develops a taste for that kind of thing :(

And goodness knows what the sight of a Kamisori might do - Mikimoto Pearls? Mikasa Dinnersets?

Lol 3P is 3P pre shave http://www.amazon.co.uk/health-beauty/dp/B00H45KD38

OCMM is an open comb micro matic razor.

Hope that helps. If they have any Old Spice soap in the colonies could it please be returned to me. I'll even cover the postage :)

@Osman, congratulations!!! You've just independantly invented super lather or uber lather. It's something I just love for a bit of serious pampering. I use Musgo Real Creme, usually the Spiced Citrus with a base of bland scented triple milled tallow soap like de Candre or Mitchell's Wool Fat. For even a bit more hedonism, add 4-5 drops of glycerine to the mix then kick back and marvel at just how rich a lather can be :);):)

Mastro Livi CarboInox Snake, 8/8 Full Hollow, Snake Point

Shaving with this Mastro Livi CarboInox Snake Razor is always an incredible joy. Made from the well known Mastro Livi CarboInox Damascus, with its inlaid carbon damascus blue dots, the special and beautiful scales, it is a magnificent and elegant show. Not to mention how this snake razor shaves: very deep, super close, with its keen edge capable of giving the best and smoothest shave! I also wanted to use some of the shaving stuff I make at home: my pre-shave oil, my shaving soap and my beloved Bay Rum aftershave. I must say they make a superb job: the oil prepares the skin to receive the soap and razor, the soap provides a huge amount of super slicking, rich and creamy lather, the Bay Rum gives a beautifully refreshing and soothing touch with its caribbean fragrance of pimenta racemosa. What a great, luxurious and sumptous shave!
