The Morning Shave.
The Astra blade was in my 1969 Gillette Super Adjustable 109 today.
This was a new blade, quite mild. I originally had the Gillette 109 on setting 5, this is usually my preferred setting on my Adjustables. After a few strokes I moved up to setting 6. The blade was a little too mild although very comfortable.
Second time using the Gillette Pure cream.
This is a very dense cream, only need a tiny amount for a great rich creamy lather.
The scent is a light mild floral almost unscented.

The Morning Shave.
The Feather Hi-Stainless blade was in my 1950’s Gillette British Rocket FlareTip today.
I missed yesterday’s shave, so used the Feather blade. Not sure how many shaves on this blade.
I only use the Feather if I miss a daily shave, it’s a little too sharp for a daily.
No weepers but this blade has lost its edge, slight drag which is uncommon for a feather blade.
So, this was its final run, full head and face shave.
The Omega Pro 48 is a great brush, I use this every few days, to allow it to thoroughly dry between shaves.
Once broken in and the tips split it’s really comfortable.
Love the BR reference (or should I say the JF reference).

Only 7am and it's already The Day It Rained Forever. And to cap it off, goodness me, goodness me, I've got Aeroplane Disease, a parting gift from Emirates on the way back. My cup runneth over.
