No-brand Solingen ⅝ full-hollow Dutch point from the mid 1940s and dressed in Australian golden wattle timber scales. I love the scent of this timber. Edge is finished and maintained on diamond pasted balsa.

The Morning Shave.

Another great opportunity to try different blades from a recent PIF.

I used the same 7am Blade today, with 48hr growth.

My first shave was very pleasant however I did get 6-7 weepers.

7am Plus The blade comes double wrapped, a plain wrapper inside the main envelope wrap of each blade.

I enjoyed the 7am Plus blade, very sharp, very comfortable. I had 2 weepers (Head & face shave)

The Vulfix Pure Badger is a great brush, very soft.

Proraso Red – Sandalwood. Great scent easy to get a creamy lather.

Absolutely love the scent of Brut, a great traditional aftershave.



For myself, the 7am Platinum blade wouldn’t be a daily shaver, more like a Feather bade. When I miss a daily shave and have 48hr bristle growth.

Spirit is as light and maneuverable as Vector but smoother and more comfortable for mi skin and quite efficient. a winner razor

It has been about 6 months since I shaved with my shavette and it let me know by biting me leaving three weepers.

Oxor shavette with feather blade (1). Soap is Palmolive stick (Germany) which I will be using all this week.
