The Morning Shave.

Minora Week –

The Gillette Minora was in my Gillette Slim today. A light touch and a very smooth shave. Almost no blade feel – very soft.
For myself, the Gillette Slim on 5 is my sweet spot YMMV.

Jack the Barber is a supermarket budget soap/cream, I like Sandalwood scent. Very good value, easy to whip a good dense lather and plenty of slickness.

Nothing wrong with Jack The Barber. I bought a few tubs when Woolies had it on sale for $6.

Minora Week –

The Gillette Minora was in my Gillette Super Adjustable today.

A light touch, no weepers or irritation. I did have audible blade feel.
Today’s shave was not as smooth as yesterdays. The blade maybe losing its edge.

Not sure how many shaves to expect from a Minora, first time using these.

I head and face shave every day, so my blades do get a good run.

Another supermarket budget soap from a recent trip to the UK. Nice clean scent from the Wilkinson Sword - Blue essential.

Pre-shave:- Cool Shower
Bowl/Scuttle:- Captain's Choice
Brush:- Yaqi Sagrada Familia Pure Badger 22/50mm knot
Soap/Cream:- Valobra (4 tallow shaving sticks press into a 250 ml plastic tub)
Razor/Blade:- Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements 'Quantum' OC ('omega' mild baseplate) borrowed / Wizamet Super Iridium #5
Post/After-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Invite E High Potency Pure Oil (10 drops), Natural Plant Glycerine (20) & Tea Tree Oil Antiseptic (5)
Moisturising Cream:- Aveeno Active Naturals Daily Fragrance-Free (for autumn & winter season)
Fragrance:- Burberry London for Men
