Really good result from the Futur, probably the best in the short time I've owned it.

Great lather and scent from the SV too.

One of those shaves where it all came together nicely, only issue my phone battery died so no photographic evidence.

Nice 3 pass this morning (W,X,X) no sting from the alum, and the face feels fantastic after the Myrsol. Finally feel like I'm getting the hang of this caper.
On another note, I think the Voskhod has seen enough action after 4 shaves.

Post: Myrsol Agua de Limon

Fist time out with the NEW and I'm impressed. Not as aggressive as I thought but unbelievably smooth. The PJ brush is coming into its own now. I had my doubts about the difference between Simpson best and super, but i'm really starting to appreciate the quality of this brush.
Finish with Myrsol Limon. Not sure about the smell, a little too sweet for me, bu it dissipates quickly and does absolute wonders for my face. Ready to start the first day of school holidays :D

From what I have read, rosemary, thyme. Definitely in the herbaceous zone. Looking forward to it!

I was intrigued with the plastic shave's 'film' effect. Let's see how it goes.

Post Shave: Nivea Balm and TOBS Sandalwood AS
Three pass shave. A very calming shave today. The TOBS sandalwood is a very sensual and calming scent and it performed beautifully as well. The Standard continues to provide me with superb irritation free and close shaves.

How's that brush testing you @Osman? @Drago Noir mentioned to me at the meet up they were a good brush.

Superlative!!

Is it just me or is a Duke 2 a lather hog compared to the 1800? Seem to have to work to build a lather on the third pass with the duke.
