Preshave: Proraso Red
Razor: Standard
Blade: Gillette Nacet(2)
Brush: Antiga Barbearia de Bairro Boar
Soap: B&M Ferox
Post Shave: Nivea Balm and Blue Stratos AS
Three pass shave. The Standard grows in stature every shave. The Nacet blade was done by the end of this shave but delivered a close irritation free shave. Great to see everyone is enjoying their shaves and I can feel the enthusiasm jumping off their posts.

After Auspost failed to get my Wee Scot to me before my trip away in April, I haven't used it. Today I took pity on it and brought it out for a run. Wow, talk about punching about your weight. With enough high quality lather for three passes plus, no problems. I'm glaring at my Duke 2 who required some encouragement to bring out the full amount of lather on the third pass! On the down side, it's got quite a bit of scratch, enough to have me think I had bought a Pure Badger version, but they don't exist. I guess it's going to take some breaking in!

@Sxot - you shouldn't have any problems. Most of we Wee Scot owners found them a little "scritchy" at first, but it goes away pretty quickly, leaving you with an amazing brush. And you're right, lots of normal sized brushes suddenly look a bit lame by comparison. Anyway, stick with it for a little and you'll be rewarded :)

Really trying not to buy a Wee Scott. At least not this year. But you guys aren't helping much.

Brush: ShaveMac 22mm 2-band
Soap: Eufros Premium Shave Soap GEA (by Jabonman)
Razor: Leresche #77
Blade: Gillette Bleue Extra [1]
After-shave: Eufros GEA milk

@Filo - I love some of the collectible older razors you casually trot out from time to time. The Leresche #77 looks just amazing - if you have the time, it would be great to hear more about it ;)

Thanks Draco. It's only a new addition so this was its first run. I'll tell more in good time. [emoji4]

Wholeheartedly agree. My teenage son took an instant liking to the Wee, which helped fast track the softening up time. Around 6 lathers and the scritch was almost non-existent.

I need to get myself a menthol soap. Currently looking at Stirling's glacier wintergreen. Hohoho

I thought the idea of menthol to be, I don't know... gimmicky? Anyway, I tried some Shaver Heaven Arctic Mango and though it was cool but preferred non-mentholated. But then I go a mentholated A/S (PAA Alfin), and then I noticed I was using Arctic Mango more and more... lately I have been reaching for the Mango, only to force myself to choose another. Can be shaving with the same soap day in a day out!! Seems the stuff is addictive!

Agreed. I am thinking... "what the heck is that!?"

Okay. I went for the vintage butterscotch today by way of compensation because it is like rubbing your face with a cloud! But six shaves I can handle so I'll put the Scot back up on the counter for the next week and see how it goes. Thanks.

Pre: GFT lime skin food
Badger: little chubby 2
Soap: SV 70th
Razor: iKon B1 Slant
Blade: Feather
Post: alum, Thayer, tsw asb sample

Can't get enough of this soap. Chubby 2 is an amazing brush. [emoji7] [emoji7]

The slant has been a little mean to me lately. Going to give it a break, back to the OSS for a bit.

I wish I could get some more of the stray whisker asb. It's very nice. Clean scent and leaves a great face feel.

Razor: Gillette Rocket HD
Blade: Treet Carbon
Soap: Jabonmans Brisa de Oriente
A/S: Jabonmans Brisa de Oriente Balm

Absolutely perfect shave today. I'd forgotten just how nice Jabonmans soap really is and the A/S is just as good.
Been a while since I've used a Rocket HD but it's just as I remember, perfect weight, length and blade gap.

Well, it's definitely coming and will be well worth the wait. [emoji6]

Excitement overload!!!!!
But seriously good stuff. When the time comes, I'll have to eat my remaining balm to make room for it.

Beautiful setup and fantastic picture of a blooming chubby! Have you thought about pairing the Slant with a milder blade?
