Pre: Musgo Real Glyce Soap
Brush: Simpson Commodore X2 Best
Soap: Tabula Rasa Cardamom
Razor: Gillette Fatboy (7)
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (3)
Post: Myrsol Plastic Shave

There are few things in life more guaranteed than a comfortable shave with a Fatboy. Dialled it back to 7 and, though it doesn't shave as close as the R41 or even the Rockwell, I got a damn near BBS with nary a hint of weeper or irritation in sight. The Tabula Rasa was impeccable, although maybe I could have hydrated it more. The jury is out on this brush. It's nice, but not in my top 10. It may be a contender for a swap at the Melbourne Meet Up.

Pre: GFT lime skin food
Brush: SOC
Soap: Dr Jon's Anne Bonny
Razor: Standard
Blade: Feather
Post: alum, witch hazel, TSW after Balm, Ogallala Lime and Peppercorn Bay rum

Lather wasn't that great, a little thin and not as thick and dense as it could be. But hey, good glide and protection so no biggies. Just need to load more, in my opinion.

Standard is great! You guys who ordered it on Mass drop are in for a treat.

Finished with the sexy Bay rum. I love this Bay rum. More Bay rum items coming in the mail. Melbourne has an insane storm today!

Nice set-up, Smithy.

Pre-Shave: Shower
Razor: Maggard Razors V2 Open Comb head on Edwin Jagger Kelvin handle
Blade: Personna Platinum
Soap/Cream: Mike's Natural Soaps, Orange, Cedarwood, and Black Pepper Shaving Soap
Brush: Semogue 1305
ASB: The Stray Whisker After Balm
Post-Routine: hot rinse, alum, cold rinse, balm

First of all - Maggard Razors V2 Open Comb head on Edwin Jagger Kelvin handle. A bit strange combination I would say. Just wanted to try. EJ Kelvin handle is relatively light and MR V2OC is heavy. It worked fine but feeling was really strange. Not sure if I want to continue with this combination. Will be using it with either awesome MR5 handle (similar to iKon Bamboo) as I did before or with my new MR1.

Second thing - you probably won't believe, but Mike's soap was a total disaster for me this morning. Put a bit of water on top of the soap to wet it and soften a bit. Then I loaded damp Semogue for one minute. It looked like it had enough soap. Then I tried bowl lathering. Added some water and tried to make lather. Well... after a minute of trying I had lather enough for only one and a half shaves so I had to add some cream just to finish my three passes. Not sure what went wrong, but it was simply not enough lather. For the first pass lather was really nice and slick, but only for the first shave. Guys, @SpeedyPC, @TomG, @alfredus, any help with Mike's?

Preshave: Musgo Real glyce soap and Proraso sandalwood preshave cream
Razor: Weber polished head on Ikon handle
Blade: Polsilver Vintage(1)(Thanks @Draco Noir )
Brush: Shavemac 177
Soap: B&M Ferox
Two pass shave with a clean up. The vintage Polsilver is very interesting. Very sharp but so smooth, similar to the modern but more so. Couple of small weepers but the shave was so close. Look forward to seeing how long this blade will last and how it is in other razors. Finished with the excellent Ogallala bayrum, lime and peppercorn

Well first time out with the Simpson 1 "Classic" BB & it's a wozza of a brush soft tips but plenty of back bone feels great in the hand due to it's fatty handle even though it's not long. I got tips for loading it & I think they paid off see what you think. The Modial Soap is a really good soap was pretty easy to lather and gave excellent cushion & slickness the scent is as the label and smells great. Looking forward to many more shaves ahead with the Simpson.

My trial of the Supply injector continued tonight. Last night was the mild "plate" so tonight I installed the more aggressive of the plates for my shave and have to report it was not a lot more aggressive. Not a bad thing but I think I have been spoilt shaving with straight razors and the "Bunny V3 prototype 3 head injector" I wanted to be fair so I loaded my Schick adjustable and wound it up to 8 which is its maximum setting. Definitely much more efficient than the Supply razor. Next I loaded a blade [all Personna blades from my own stash] into a Pal injectormatic from the late 50's. This is a fixed blade gap but regarded as pretty efficient. This razor was also more able to cut down the whiskers. Is this a bad thing? certainly not as one man's mild is another man's face peel.

When you find the balance point on the SS Supply razor it is actually very easy to maintain the correct pressure.
Looks 10/10
Concept and execution 8.5/10
Construction and materials 10/10
Ergonomics 7/10 but improves with use. [Weight is an issue initially]
Practicality in use 7/10 [spring is an issue]
Face feel of razor during shave 9-10/10
Quality of shave 8/10

Razor as above with plate 3
Additional comparison with Schick adjustable and Pal injectormatic
Brush thanks to @boldsworth - a no name boar left soaking for 2 days which is now stunning.

Pre: GFT Lime Skin Food
Brush: Wolfwhisker Ubersoft II
Soap: Mike's Hungarian Lavender
Razor: Standard
Blade: Feather
Post: Alum, Witch Hazel, TSW After Balm, Myrsol Agua Balsamica

First go with the Mike's Hungarian Lavender. Sure can take heaps of water. I might try loading with a dryer brush next time. But still, the lather was nothing short of amazing. It's amazing how I can just keep adding water to it and it doesn't dissipate. Lovely soap I have here, plus the scent is amazing as well. Spicy type of lavender though.

Achieved a very smooth shave today, a lot of protection and slickness from this soap. This is definitely one of my go to soaps.
