Mmmmmmm strange bottle then

Brush: Simpson Duke 2 Best
Soap: Mike's Cedar, Orange and Blackpepper
Razor: iKON Tech on OSS handle
Blade: GSB (1)
Post: Alum, Myrsol Limon

Second go with the Tech and a much better shave. I chose the slickest soap I have and Mike's delivered on that front. The Tech was much smoother this time, possibly due to me playing with the angle a little. There is so much blade exposure that it really cuts at any angle so finding the true angle is a struggle. I'm left with an excellent BBS. No irritation but a few nicks. This razor demands thought at every stroke and magnifies every mistake. Compared to this razor I'd be happy to wave the R41 across my face with gay abandon. Still unsure if the risk/reward is worth it. The shave was close, and my Sunday morning shave easily lasted till Monday evening, but I don't think it's any closer than the R41, with much more likelihood of nicking oneself.

Pre: La Toja soap, Myrsol Antesol and Emulsion
Brush: Simpson Chubby 2 Super Badger
Soap: Neville
Razor: Feather AS-D2
Blade: PSI (1)
Post: Myrsol Antesol and Emulsion
Post Post: Thayers Superhazel
A/S: DR Harris Bay Rum

First spin with the Neville Soap. A vegetable based soap made in England. Newish, I think. The puck was grated and packed into a Grundtal container with addition of a wee bit of liquid glycerin, a la @shavetheman.
Took a bit of time loading, and got plenty of lather with soft peaks. Three pass shave, plus cleanup. Good face feel, nice scent, and pretty good glide and cushion. Not as slick as my last shave (MWF), but no surprise there.
Super-close shave with no nicks or weepers, but in striving for BBS, copped some neck irritation. My bad.
All made good with Myrsol & Thayers.
All up quite impressed with the Neville soap. The scent is Citrus/Orange, very similar to Lucky Tiger Face Tonic. However, the citrus is balanced by a familiar warm, woody/spicy note that I couldn't quite identify. Upon checking the ingredients list, the oils are Citrus aurantium dulcis (Sweet orange) peel oil, Citrus aurantium bergamia (Bergamot) fruit oil, Cistus ladaniferus (Labdanum) resin, Eugenia caryophyllus (Clove) bud oil, Coriandrum sativum (Coriander) seed oil, Juniperus virginiana (Cedarwood) oil, Citrus grandis (Grapefruit) peel oil, Citrus limon (Lemon) peel oil, Vanilla planifolia (Vanilla) fruit oil, Rosa centifolia (Rose absolute) flower oil, and Boswellia carterii (Frankincense).
I suspect the familiar element I couldn't quite get was the Frankincense.
The scent of the soap matched beautifully with the DR Harris Bay Rum.

Eight different products (if you double count the ones you apply twice). 8!
I'm lucky if I have time / remember to apply 2.

Again, this brush really needs overloading. I under loaded it, resulted in a lather that couldn't usually take as much water as Stirling could. There is just something about this brush, I still don't quite get the hang of it. Best to overload it and then it will be okay.

Shave is good as usual, and the scent. Wow.... Matching splash to finish it off as well. I think will use same set up again tomorrow.

@silver - I've heard good things about the Ozark Mountain scent. How would you describe it?

Very beautiful scent. Imagine grabbing some pine tree leaves, rub them together to get the juice out. Plus some beefy tallow smell from the soap. It doesn't smell like detergent, smells like natural pine. Get one, you will not regret it. If you really don't like it, you can let me suffer by PIFing it to me!

@silver - what a great description! I can almost smell it. It sounds great.

Aaaaah @silver this takes me back to my childhood when I was in the boys scout first time camping outside of Australia when I was in the US ;)

My breakfast tea was at the good temperature by the time I finished my shave. Wonderful !
