Pre-Shave: Cypriotian Olive/Argan Oil soap, cold water
Razor: ATT S-1 Colossus
Blade: Ladas (2)
Brush: Rudy Vey Shavemac
Lather: Mike's Bay Rum
Post-shave: Alum, Barrister & Man Kyovu Original, South Australian Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Wonderful shave today: the RudyMac and Mike's are just made for each other and produce fantastic lather (picture here). And with that the S1 can't do anything else but to give me an effortless silky smooth result...hope you all enjoy your shaves as well (y)

Brush: Plisson HMW
Razor: Velvet
Blade: Scottish Perma Sharp
Soap: P&B Spitfire
A/S: Groomed Balm

Lovely lather with the Plisson. Softer than any natural brush I've used with decent backbone and excellent flow. Everything I'd hoped it would be.

oh man!
...I've seen that brush before....somewhere?

I guess that accounts, for your sense of humour.

My offer of paying/bribing @Monsta_AU (Nice bottle of scotch) if he uses his admin power to give you a banner that replaces 'Site Moderator' with 'General Ledger' still stands btw with another bottle if he changes my site username to 'DanB' (y)

Boom Tish!

Well I cannot change your username or my banner, but I do have some limited powers ...

First shave this morning with the Night Music (thanks to Cranky) and what an intoxicating scent. Description is very accurate, and if I had to liken it to something in my past, it would be choc strawberry hubba bubba. Performance is awesome from the glissant base.

Now to talk one of you fine gents into a scent sample for the Cologne Russe :)

Pre: Occams Original Pre Shave
Brush: Occams SB 24mm
Razor: Merkur Progress
Blade: Feather
Soap: Mystic Waters - Irish Traveller
Balm: Stirling - Sharp Dressed Man
Aftershave: Stirling - Sharp Dressed Man

Mystic waters reformulation certainly delivers the goods, a great lather this morning with a scent to rival Stirlings take on Creed. The usual two pass that was most satisfactory, finishing up with the wonderful smelling Stirling Balm and then a little splash.

Pre-Shave: Shower
Razor: Edwin Jagger Kelvin
Blade: Polsilver SI (1)
Soap/Cream: Through the Fire Fine Craft - Ignite
Brush: Mühle Silvertip Fibre V2.0
A/S: TSW - #1 After Shave Spritz
ASB: Nivea Men Sensitive Post Shave Balm
Cologne: Chrome by Azzaro
Post-Routine: hot rinse, alum, cold rinse, splash, dry skin, balm, cologne

Yesterday afternoon was soap making day. My current stash was about to run out. After a discussion about Stearic acid/Coconut oil soaps I broke out soapcalc and experimented. This is the recipe if there are any other members here who want to make there own version.
40% Stearic
40% Coconut
15% Kokum Butter
5% Tallow
60/40 Potassium and Sodium Hydroxide
At the end of the 90 minutes cook I added 10% Glycerine and about 2% Lanolin
For skin protection I added a generous dose of Lemon myrtle

Lathered very well with excellent glide. I'm attempting to tailor my soap for straight use primarily.
2 passes DFS+

Skin felt good. Not too drying and no feeling of residual soapiness.

Preshave: Musgo Real glyce soap
Razor: Ikon X3
Blade: Polsilver SI(1)
Brush: Plisson(Thanks for the loan @Draco Noir )
Soap: I Coloniali
Post Shave: Natio Balm and Proraso sandalwood AS
Three pass shave with the X3 was a little bit of a struggle today. The angle escaped me for a bit but finally manage to get it right for a decent DFS+. Soap is superb and finished off with the excellent Proraso sandalwood AS.

That X3 angle can be tricky! The Proraso Sandalwood AS is my current favorite AS.

I think I want me some of that il-coloniali.

How good is it?

Blade: Wilkinson Sword (5th use)
Brush: Semogue 610
Soap/Cream: Shaver Heaven Oatmeal Stout
Post: Thayer’s Cucumber/Proraso Sandalwood AS/Shaver Heaven Sweet Almond Milk AS Balm

Shaver Heaven is one of the best soaps I’ve used. Incredible scent and awesome performance, can’t say anything negative at all. The scent on the Oatmeal Stout is sooooo goooood!
