Haven't used First Canadian for quite a while and completely forgot how good it was. I used it very often last summer and it's more than half off so need to re-stock it at Maggards next time (and Stirling with Henri et Victoria).

I'd really like to see some pictures from you sometime, you used to post some really nice shots man :)

I'd love to do that as well. Unfortunately recently I simply do not have time for photography at all. :( Moreover - I'll disappear for two weeks. Will be in WA with limited internet access. I promise I'll start posting again soon. It's just right now some hectic time. :(

Pre-Shave: Cyprusian Olive/Argan Oil soap, cold water
Razor 1st-2nd pass: Weck Sextoblade
Razor 3rd pass: Weber PH UFO Titan L
Blade 1st-2nd pass: Personna Hairshaper (7)
Blade 3rd pass: Ladas (2)
Brush: Paladin TSN LE
Soap: Stirling Bay Rum
Post-shave: Alum, Barrister & Man Kyovu Original, South Australian Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Better effort than last time with the shavette - but was it really comfortable? I am still not convinced. The lather was sensational (picture here) - this is one of my favourite scents and my wife said, it smells of Christmas in the bathroom :D

I'm home from work today with a staph throat and virus, and my voice currently sounds like the lead project manager for the Vogon Constructor fleet...

Gee mate, hope you recover quickly. Something for you and @TomG to get you both back on your feet -

Thanks mate, Ive taken tomorrow off to try and kick it. Dr advised (and I suspected) high viral load (cold) with secondary bacterial in the throat. Panadol, salt water gargles and plenty of rest. No mention of excluding inter-net use was mentioned specifically which I interpret as being fine to do during my convalescence!

Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Soap
Brush: Shavemac Americana D01 3 Band
Soap: Mystic Waters Sardinian Honey
Razor: Muhle R41 (2013)
Blade: Polsilver Stainless (2)
After-shave: Myrsol Agua de Limon

This new Shavemac is intriguing. It clearly needs a lot of breaking in (it's very scrubby - almost scritchy), but that actually makes me like it more. It doesn't give up all of its secrets on first use. And it creates a spectacular lather. The Sardinian Honey really is something special. I enjoyed the pairing with the Myrsol Limon. Delicious.
