Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Soap
Brush: Shavemac Americana D01 3Band
Soap: Chiseled Face Summer Storm
Razor: iKon X3 Slant
Blade: Polsilver SI (1)
After-shave: Myrsol Agua de Limon

This brush still needs further breaking in. It's got tons of backbone, and lots of scrub. The razor was impressive as always. I believe someone has one for sale in the BST if anyone's interested.
;)

Grand dad shave tonight.

Single pass with a beautiful 6/8" straight razor for a very good DFS.

Prep: Hot towel for 3x 30 seconds
Massage in Macadamia nut oil/Lemon Myrtle. About 5 drops on a moist face.
Create lather with my newly knotted boar, with my newly made soap.
Lather is getting better each time I use this soap.
1 pass and done. There is nowt like a straight razor shave -- once you spend the 100 or so shave learning how to do it :)
Post: Wash the face with warm/cold water then Macadamia nut oil/Lemon Myrtle.

World class lather from Mike's. Lovely lavender and thick rich lather. I had a great time today, although my urge to get a closer shave got me a few nicks. Have to be more careful. Lovely AS splash, one of my favourite scents.

Mastro Livi Stripes CarboInox Italy, 7/8 Full Hollow, Spanish Point

It was quite a long time I was not using Williams mug shaving soap and when I saw it in a shop during my last trip, I bought it right away. And I am very happy I did because I had good memories of this soap, something it was capable to confirm in today's shave. Easy to lather, good in holding water, it was very easy to get a rich lather also thanks to Mastro Livi silver wild badger shave brush, with its amazing juniper aroma because of the handle made from this Mediterranean wood. As for the razor, this fantastic and superb Mastro Livi stripes CarboInox proves to be - shave after shave - a magnificent shaver giving a super velvety and smooth BBS. I also like the scales because of the Italian flag insert: jade, fossil mammoth ivory and coral. The final touch has been provided by Layrite Bay Rum No. 9, one of the very few around having a real and genuine bay leaf fragrance.

Blade: Bengal round tip 6/8 full hollow
Soap: Shaver Heaven - Illusion
Post: PAA - CaD.

BOOM!
3 Passes -> Perfect.
I've really struggled to admit over the past couple of months this but I have to say for me, and my honing skills, on my JNat, a Bengal is my favourite shaver!

@Anthony, please make Illusion again! It's just about perfect, and just about empty!!
I have a tub of Samuel on the way. It's supposed to be as good. We'll see

The shaving this morning was a bit rough comparing to yesterday's one. Not sure why - either the soap (using this particular one for the first time) or open comb razor (pressed too much again). Still have DFS on cheeks and SAS on neck. Will try high butter soap or another Shaver Heaven tomorrow just to compare.
