Tallow, sandalwood and amber. Yum yum.Well I felt I was letting shavedom down as 2 days have past and the grey growth was less than attractive.
Preshave: Hot washer treatment
Soap: Mine. A nice tallow formulation Sandalwood/Amber blend.
Razor: The wonderful Schick Type E from about 1939
Blade: Personna. These are a very good blade.
And a splash of witch hazel
Smooth 2 pass DFS and thankfully no cuts or weepers. I had a chat with my GP today and he thinks I will be fine with a cut throat so soon despite the blood thinners.
Tallow, sandalwood and amber. Yum yum.
Classy son
Setting 3 on the FB and a freshly stroped feather [emoji108]
Eh Mark how's that FB good nick and shinyRazor: Gillette F4 Fatboy (5)
Blade: Wilkinson Sword 'Light Brigade' (7)
Brush: Vintage butterscotch Simpson AS2
Soap/Cream: Shaver Heaven Arctic Menthol Extreme
Aftershave: Floid Vigoroso
The Light Brigade shows no signs of wearing out - in fact it almost seems to be getting better.
My recollection of the menthol hit from the Shaver Heaven 'Extreme' version had faded - it is certainly there!
Floid is just a great finsher - sensational stuff.
No lather shots from this shave but ....
