Pre-Shave: Occams pre-shave soap, cold water
Razor: ATT S1 with Kronos (kindly loaned by @Draco Noir)
Blade: Voskhod (2)
Brush: Simpson Chubby 2 Best
Lather: Stirling Scots Pine Sheep
Post-shave: Alum, Barrister & Man Kyovu Original, South Australian Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Perfect shave - simply stunning. The razor takes a pretty high toll on blades I think. The Voskhod was absolutely at its end after last pass. Usually after 2 shaves (8 passes), the blade is still good and might be good for another ~2 passes - but with the highly twisted and rigid geometry - no chance.

The scent from the soap is now pretty mellow - still not my favourite but the performance it stellar - especially the post-shave. Lather shot can be found here.

I think it's this poor brush - you really should not be shaving with this...please send it to me to dispose correctly for you :D

Very cool pic! What's 10/10???
I think you're right. Unfortunately it's my friends who loaned it to me to try before he puts it on eBay.

SOTN

Razor: EJDE89
Blade: Astra
Brush: Omega Synth/Badger
Soap: Shaver Heaven Peppermint Plus
After: Alum, TN Dickinson's Witch Hazel, Nivea splash

The old brush is very soft with little backbone. Still produces enough lather for 3 passes effectively though.
Very pleasant WTG, XTG, XTG Shave tonight.

Preshave: Myrsol emulsion
Soap: Shaver Heaven buttered Rum
Razor: 6S #3
Blade: permasharp (2)
Post: Thayers and Myrsol Balsalmica

After yesterday's shave with the permasharp, I've ordered another 100. Would be happy not to use any other brand ever. The mailbox is going to get a workout over the next several weeks.

Razor: Gillette F4 Fatboy (5)
Blade: Personna Lab Blue (2)
Brush: Vintage butterscotch distressed Culmak reknotted in TGN finest
Soap/Cream: Saponificio Varesino 70th Anniversary "Settantesimo" Shave Soap
Aftershave: Saponificio Varesino 70th Anniversary "Settantesimo" Aftershave

Some days you just want to make the shave special - nice to be able to do it so easily. Tip of the hat to @shavetheman for importing this stuff - bellisimo!

What a delightful way to start a cold & wet day. Everyone that said the aftershave was great were spot on. Such a stout scent & the menthol almost felt warming?? Odd but I loved it.

This soap is guaranteed to be a constant in my rotation. Very glad to know that TSW stocks this product so it's nice & easy to get.

Preshave: Proraso Red
Razor: Standard
Blade: Feather
Brush: Shavemac 177
Soap: Mystic Water Cuppa Joe
Post Shave: Razorock Limes balm and Proraso Green
Two pass shave. The razor has chosen its blade and it is the feather. Just works so well with the razor. This razor could be a daily driver just so comfortable to use with excellent results. Mystic Water lather was superb, not too thrilled with the scent but it was just a sample. Smells like coffee and cigarettes. Performance was sublime.

Razor:
Merkur 34c
Blade: Astra Superior Platinum
Brush: Sterling synthetic 22mm
Soap: Shaver Heaven - Summer Breeze
Aftershave: Shaver Heaven - Summer Breeze Aftershave Balm

First ever wet shave!! I had no problem lathering up the Shaver Heaven soap which was a good start. I took things slow and concentrated on letting the razor do the work and end up with the closest shave I have ever had. I did struggle just under the jaw and some parts of the neck but hopefully with a bit of practise and improved technique it will get easier.

Even though the process took a lot longer than my usual shave it was very satisfying and I couldn't help but think of my Grandpa who used a safety razor back when he was alive. Unfortunately he died well before I even started shaving so his safety razor is long gone but it was still a nice way to reminisce and something that I had not expected.

The missus loved the smell of the Aftershave so that was a definite plus.

All in all I would have to say the first wet shave was a complete success especially as I didn't draw blood! It felt like that's the way shaving should be, an enjoyable experience rather than just another chore that needs to be done. I couldn't imagine going back to the Mach 3 again and I will definitely be looking at adding some new hardware and software to the mix.

Thanks to everyone for all the advice and warm welcome you've successfully created another addict!

Great to hear this. And that's a superb kit to start out with. Well done.

Pre shave: Musgo Real Glyce
Brush: Simpson PJ2 Super
Soap: Tabac
Razor: iKon DLC Slant
Blade: PolSilver SI
A/S: Speick

Haven't used Tabac for a while and was reminded of how slick it is. The Polsilver trumps the Voskhod in the slant, I've realised, meaning I got a superb BBS.

Brush: Simpson Wee Scot
Soap: Czech & Speake Oxford & Cambridge
Razor: Gillette NEW Short Comb
Blade: Feather
After: Dior Fahrenheit

Czech & Speake O & C is a magnificent lavender scented tallow based soap that is a top echelon favourite of mine. It used to be one of the most desired soaps but the explosion of cheap artisan products has pushed this English classic into the shadows.
The Short Comb can be a smidgen harsh but it's a close and silky smooth operator when paired with a Feather blade. For me they are a match made in heaven.
