Pre: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Antesol and Emulsion
Brush: Simpson Chubby 2 Super Badger
Soap: Lea
Razor: ATT Kronos open comb M2
Blade: Vintage Polsilver (2)
Post: Myrsol Antesol and Emulsion
EDT: TOBS Eton College

Lea soap - what a pleasure. Dense, Polar white lather with a fresh linen scent. Good residual slickness and face feel. 2 passes got me very close; couldn't resist a 3rd pass and copped a little razor burn. Myrsol to the rescue.
Eton College doesn't get much love on the boards, but I think it is a classy fragrance at a good price.

A wonderful 2 pass - well it was after I ditched the first soap I had first lathered up. My razor was a 6/8" Tanifuji which is wonderfully sharp and smooth but with this soap it was quite bizarre in that it was not cutting all the whiskers. I relathered with a good soap and instantly the blade cut close and comfortably as it should. The original lather seemed very good but for a straight it was sadly lacking.

The Semogue 2000 is really breaking in well and lathers sensationally.

@TomG trust me you'll LOVE Arko shave stick and it's super CHEAP, and don't worry it won't even smell worst like @Greenpike as Satan's urine :ROFLMAO: it's just a weak lemon scent to my nose and I LOVE IT (y).

When you received an Arko stick from @Sxot and IF you really like it and is does lather HUGE and pretty quick get yourself a whole box of 12 sticks for $30 AUD click here this will keep @King of Authentic Shave very happy ;)

Thanks @SpeedyPC , but we are here to keep our customers happy not ourselves ;)

Struggled a little on the first couple of outings with this soap, slight redness and irritation, but it smells so good and performs so well i had to stick with it. Glad i did as todays shave was nothing less than excellent (y)

Hope you're all good down under and looking forward to the weekend :D

Razor: Darwin Standard Razor
Blade: Wilkinson Sword 'Light Brigade' (15)
Brush: Vintage butterscotch Simpson
Soap/Cream: Proraso Menthol and Eucalyptus Shaving Soap
Post-shave: Proraso Menthol and Eucalyptus Aftershave Splash

Big difference between SEEING the bottom and finishing off these soaps #magicpuddingeffect

Done with the LB though I think - was fun while it lasted but don't want to push it further. Lovely blade if you can find them.

Speaking of lovely blades ... FS: Vintage blades, some soaps and other stuff

Timeless
Washpool Farm & APR The Generals Ledger
APR The Generals Ledger Aftershave Balm
APR The Generals Ledger Aftershave

Another thoroughly enjoyable 9.30am holiday shave today, the Timeless becoming ever increasingly second nature as I become familiar with it's weight and functional performance. The more I use it the more I appreciate the weighting, I see what they have achieved with their razors - you adopt the correct angle of incidence and let the weight of the razor do the rest, particularly so with Feather Blades as they are so efficient, so very little assistance is required. In this regard probably not the ideal razor for the novice or recent cartridge convertee as they tend to apply unnecessary pressure and I imagine this would result in some fairly effective and prolific wounding when such a sharp blade is employed.

Further testing of the Washpool farms new formula and it is proving itself to be a very fine soap, I am quite enthusiastic about it as it happens to be Australian made (they render their own tallow too) which is very much in keeping with what I am trying to do with APR. The beautiful scent of GL works very well within the soap, the lathering experience alone is worth while. Viability will be the only factor in being able to offer scented soaps at the end of the day.

Two passes, two very efficient complete passes then the cold drench and on with the balm and aftershave. My monthly holidays end this weekend, I am going to miss the relaxed, carefree sleep in's and leisurely 9.30am shaves - come Monday it's back to 6am and out the door by 6.30am but so it must be.

Have a great day youse fella's, be your bloody best :)

Razor Blackbird
Blade Super Iridium
Brush Simpson CH3 Manchurian
Soap Saponificio Varesino
Aftershave Myrsol

A wonderful shave marred by dropping the top cap on the tiled floor.
Whilst the ever so slightly bent corner will have absolutely no impact on the shave, my aesthetic based OCD ensures devastating psychological impact.

Lovely photo @ben74
Sorry to hear about your razor's injury - feel free to send it to me if your OCD can stand using it no longer :LOL::LOL::LOL:

Razor: Gillette New Long Comb
Blade: 7 O'Clock Super Stainless
Soap: TOBS Jermyn Street
Brush: Semogue 830
Balm: Nivea Skin Revitalizer 2 in 1
AfterShave: APR Suitably Attired Australian

Thoughts:
- Nice to play with TOBS again. Just so... except it dried out on the skin a little at the end. Was thirsty today.
- APR's SAA - what can I say, @todras ? It's a kiss of violet and citrus followed by a soothing massage of sandalwood by a dark haired women wearing nothing but one of your business shirts. With a demur smile, she finishes your half windsor knot and hands you your briefcase. That's a tie knot people. Calm down.

Is there a photo or are you being facetious? I don't see anything, but if anything I prefer the lack of imagery everywhere.

@ben74 are you sure you're not suffering from a very rare disorder called Simpson Manchurian Collection Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (SMCPTSD) :p:D for dropping you're Blackbird top cap on the tiled floor.

I was showing genuine appreciation of the razor and brush image.

The comment about the damaged top cap was not serious!

Brush: EJ Silvertip
Razor: Oristo on Weber Bulldog handle
Blade: Aussie Spoiler
Soap: Pino Silvestre
A/S: Pino Silvestre
Cologne: Pino Silvestre

Another flawless shave with the Oristo and made even better with the addition of the Weber handle, a much more secure grip than the Oristo handle.
