Razor: Gillette Slim Adjustable (4)
Blade(s): Feather (1)
Brush: Simpsons Super Chubby 2
Soap/Cream: B&M Petrichor
Post: Thayers Aloe Vera Medicated
Baxters of California Oil Free Moisturiser

Glad I pushed the Slim back to a "4" for the Feather as I could feel it today!

I sit on a 4 or a 5 with my Slim too especially with Feathers and I have to say, man those slims deliver a really solid shave for a razor that is 30+ years old. I have big hands so my only want would be a slim with a longer handle, other than that it's a perfect adjustable in my book :)

Razor: Artist club
Blade: feather pro
Soap: Arko
Brush: silvertip whipped dog

Been awhile since I broke out the Arko and darn do I love that stuff.
Beautifully close shave and irritation free :)

Pre-Shave: @khun_diddy Olive Oil Soap, cold water
Razor: Colonial General Aluminium
Blade: Schick Proline (2)
Brush: Maseto 2-band Finest
Lather: Australian Private Reserve Fougere Bourbon Rose
Post-shave: Alum, Stirling Bay Laurel Witch Hazel, Australian Emu Oil

Can I get a decent shave with the General? I most certainly can. Do I enjoy it? Probably not...I really have to be careful the whole shave through - there is just no space for having fun. The shave was close, but not very smooth and I did have a couple of weepers. The lather and scent of the soap are superb (picture here) - but that was probably the nicest part of today's shave.

I hope you all have a great start into the new week (y)

Keep trying @alfredus you can't give up on the Colonial General ;)

The Beast

Razor: Muhle R41 head with SS Stray Whisker handle
Blade: Personna Lab Blue (1)
Soap: B&M Roam
Brush: TF Ash and Gold Synthetic
Post: Alum + Floid Black AS

Thoughts...
- I've done it. Definately my most aggressive first use of a DE (though it's a kitten compared to my Gem Micromatic). I ended up with an amazingly good DFS after two passes and a brilliant BBS after 3 with no pickups.
- Two tiny nicks on my neck after the first pass due to poor angle but that was it for the shave. I actually got less weepers than I sometimes get with my General. I am glad I didn't bother with the naff light handle that came with the head.
- I'm not convinced that the Personna Lab Blue was the best choice of my blades for this beast. Will try with a Permasharp as the Lab Blue was a little more grabby ATG than I like. I have no irritation but I'm close... if that makes sense :)

Pre: Musgo Real Glyce
Brush: Shavemac D01 Americana
Soap: Martin de Candre Fougere
Razor: Dorko 6/8"
Strop: Kanayama
Post-shave: Myrsol Plastic

A truly special shave after 4 days growth. The album felt like glass as I rubbed it, zero irritation. The Dorko edge was super smooth I felt that there was zero chance of me nicking myself.

Increasing the setting on the progress each pass 2-2.5-3 produced a lovely bbs shave. Aided by the luxurious lather by Jabonman. This scent really does go with lots of edt's (also changes a lot from off puck to lather. The woody notes subside a little and becomes more sweet/bright).

Brush: Omega Synthetic Hi-Brush
Soap: Proraso Green
Razor: Gillette Slim Adjustable (+3)
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (1)
Lotion: Omega Alum Stick / Mennen Skin Bracer / Gillette Apres-Resage Gel

Clear blue skies and 91 Fahrenheit here today. Enjoyed the Proraso Green after a morning bike ride, not quite believing I was drafted into the U.S. Army half a century ago, on 12Jun67. Alas, 'tis true.

Preshave: Coconut oil
Scuttle: HG
Brush: Shavemac
Soap: Home made CP
Razor: Flic 6/8
Post shave: Jojoba and hemp oil

Honed blade last night and it performed very well this morning though the old blade has seen better days. Some very fine pitting (under scope) but fortunately not where it counts.

Shower
Feather AC DX with Pro Super blade (9)
GFT Rose cream
Omega 49
Re-lather + Bulldog ASB

A 3 pass BBS. The third pass was just to use up some of the lather - I loaded a lot of product and then added a lot of water and the result wasn't bad at all. Could have been more slick though so I won't be buying GFT again.
