What a killer shave today. Supply still going very strong, and this was first use of a tallow @shaver_heaven . Absolutely supurb, can't wait for their return. This brush gives me my best lathers too

Are they actually coming back? There was rumours about that months ago. But nothing has happened since. Is it still happening?

Pre Shave: Coconut Oil
Soap: Puck No: 1 (this stuff seems to be continuing to improve with age)
Brush: Shavemac
Razor: Damascus 6/8 (I routinely put a little Jojoba on the hinge pin and blade post shave for protection, helps to keep the joint clean and mobile as well)
Post: Jojoba w/essential oils

Nice to be back home and on to the straights.

Shower
Fatip Grande Nickel with Lord Racer blade (5)
P&C Platypus 26mm Fan
Tim's Greek Peach
Re-lather and cold rinse

Another 3 pass BBS - either this blade is an outlier or I'm getting better at using this razor. Loaded an embarrassing amount of product in the Platypus and was rewarded with an embarrassing amount of lather, even at the end of the shave. So difficult for my frugal instincts to just flush it all down the sink! Was able to get away without a balm today but only just. This soap always give me a mild bit of burn when it's on the face but then nothing afterwards so I always forgive it for that - I suspect whatever chemical is used for the peach fragrance, which is actually not bad.

What a great SOTD. Still can't believe this razor. Its absolutely the tits. 4th shave and still pretty smooth. Good blades, I've missed PAA. A heap. Forgot how easy and beautiful the lather is. Good to whip out Tony's awesome brush too
Razor: Supply Single Edge
Blade: Supply Blade (4)
Brush: TF Custom Synthetic
Soap: PAA Gondolier
AS: Nivea 2 Phase Aftershave
Cider: Three Oaks Cider ;)

Brush: Simpsons, PJ2
Soap: Squadron, The Warden
Razor: Gem, Contour II
Blade: Gem SS
Post: Squadron, The Warden. Nivea Sensitive

A lovely Squadron, Warden shave, fresh, smooth and slick, a great way to start the weekend!
First use of the last of the Gem razors. I like the design of the handle but light plastic and a mild head don't really add up to a great razor. A sad end to a great run.

Better days

Brush: - Stirling Synthetic 26/54mm
Cream/Soap: - Palmolive Classic Shave Stick (european version grated into a plastic tub)
Razor: - RazoRock Mission
Blade: - Astra Superior Platinum #1
Post: - Thayers Witch Hazel 'Unscented' / Bulldog Original Aftershave Balm

I'll be going away again in a few days for 2 months and I need to start planning my travel shaving gear very soon ;)

Two months? Wow!
Where are you off to?

Razor: Gillette Toggle (4,4,3)
Blade(s): Polsilver (2), Feather (1)
Brush: Simpsons Super Chubby 2
Soap/Cream: Wholly Kaw Fougere Bouquet
Post: Dickinsons With Hazel (Plenty of it)

For the weekend I'm back to the Toggle. Felt that a 3 last time was OK so tried a 4 for the first two passes and then seeing it was going OK, popped in a feather for the final pass after setting to 3. Eek .. let's just call it a learning opportunity (again). The Toggle is a pretty aggressive razor to my eyes. Apart from the extremely close shave and blood, the Wholly Kaw Fougere Bouquet is absolutely wonderful, both in scent and in lathering. I'm not someone that can detect notes of "citrus and undertones of whatever" but I know what I like the smell of, and the smell of this soap is an absolute banger!

Well that was the last go for me. Will be putting the Timeless up on BST over the next couple days. It just doesn't agree with my neck. Thinking I'll give the Blackbird a go next maybe, or stick to what I have that works brilliantly (and hang out for a Wolfman).

Sorry for the brevity, Gents... I have to go into town to pick someone up... but I have found a nice combination of Razorock Mission razor and Voskhod Teflon Coated blades. Fairly mild but efficient. The Mission performs extremely well on every blade I have tried. Not something you can say about all razors! Seems extremely similar (if not identical) to my Maggard V3 with Maggard MR7 SS handle.

Brush: - RazoRock Plissoft Big Bruce Synthetic 26/63mm
Lather: - Palmolive Classic Shave Stick (european version grated into a plastic tub)
Razor: - Parker Variant Adjustable in Satin Chrome (WTG #5, XTG #5, ATG #2)
Blade: - Astra Superior Platinum #2
Post: - Thayers Witch Hazel 'Unscented' / Bulldog Original Aftershave Balm

Today is my last shave as I'll be going tomorrow early morning to the airport heading for UK again for 2 months in west of London which is going to be Summer over there, I've decided to take the Parker Variant Adjustable as my travel razor along with 6 packets of Astra Superior Platinum. I've decided to take the Palmolive Classic shaving soap the european version grated into a plastic tub, because is very cheap and easy to buy Palmolive Classic shaving stick anywhere in UK in the supermarket or chemist store for under £0.50 which is very good IF I need more shaving soap.

Yesterday I'm glad I've received my Internatioanl express package from US just in time the new RazoRock Plissoft Big Bruce synthetic brush which has splayed very nicely not too floppy and not too springy for a 26/63mm knot, this synthetic brush feels almost just right and the lather build up very nicely not too messy going all over the bathroom sink which is great and enough for 5 pass shave.

Any way chow and take care enjoy your winter season in OZ, also keep warm and have a great shave.
