Did somebody mention Clubman Special Reserve? #realmen #realshaving

No fancy, smanzy healing properties in sight, just alcohol and a 'rich, masculine fragrance' Oh yeah baby, this is living -

You all have a mighty fine Friday now people

Razor: Gillette Toggle (1)
Blade(s): 7 O'Clock Yellow (1)
Brush: Simpsons Super Chubby 2
Soap/Cream: SS Group Captains Blend
Post: Old Spice "Swagger"

Loaded up with Group Captains Blend. A very dark soap, and when I loaded and started working it I was a little worried as it seemed so watery and bubbly. Within a minute though it had come up trumps. I could have done five passes with the amount of soap I worked up. I was a bit worried about pipe tobacco scent prior to buying, thinking the scent was going to smell like tobacco smoke, but the scent is more like when your old uncle would open his tobacco pouch to refill the pipe. Very nostalgic.

Set the toggle back to "1" a new blade and very lightly glided that razor over the stubble .. and a wonderful shave. Nicked some of the damage from two days ago (no shave yesterday) so one bleeder. Cannot believe that this razor could be that aggressive. It's like living on the edge every time you have a shave.

I don't have many aftershaves but thought a shave of this calibre required one, so I splashed on and swaggered!

This is probably my favourite scents in my den. Absolutely tops, such a sweet tobacco scent that just relaxes me so beautiful

Pre: Musgo Real Glyce
Brush: Shavemac D01 3 Band Americana
Soap: L&L Cuir et Epice
Razor: Hadodon 6/8"
Strop: Kanayama
Post-shave: Myrsol F Extra

One of those shaves where everything falls into place. The D01 3 band brush took a while to break in, but has now lost its scritch and is wonderfully soft with plenty of backbone. The L&L just took on so much water and gave an exceptional lather - IMHO L&L produces the best lather for a straight razor going. The Hadoson (fresh off the hones) had no hint of the crispness I sometimes get when using for the first shave, and was the veritable velvet squeegee, simply wiping off lather. A great shave.

Pre: Coconut Oil
Soap: Nettle n Neem
Brush: Shavemac
Razor: Jowika
Post: Jojoba
One of those shaves where it just seems to fall together. Except the passing nick on the ear lobe. :)
Plenty of audible feedback from the Jowika.
Oops, sorry @Psmith, unintentional plagiarism on my part. It's just the straights are so good.

Shower
Fatip Grande Nickel with Lord Racer blade (10)
MWF
Omega 48
Re-lather and warm rinse

Another 3 pass BBS. I used the MWF puck as a shave stick but this time didn't load anymore with my brush. Got a much better lather by using less product - it seemed able to take on enough water. A lot of going back to the sink to add water to get it slick but that post shave feel is so worth it - adding more product would ruin it for me. Still waiting for this blade to die - I had to use a bit more force ATG today but still no irritation or damage whatsoever. Amazing shave...

I know as I felt so uncomfortable and my whole surrounding as I've never seen so many UK police everywhere fully armed and alert, this makes me feel so sad what's been happening in UK really break my heart and soul :(

Hi @todras, just a question, maybe a silly one and probably has been asked many times before but how would one living in Australia get his hands on some of that Chatillon Lux aftershave & EDT or any product with alcohol thats overseas?

Have someone you know who regularly flies to and from the US bring it back for you :)

In the case of Chatillon Lux, you can order the salves and the facial toners no problem at all, only the aftershaves and EDT's are off limits for Shawn to send.

...

I'm willing to quit my job and become an 'aftershave mule' if you want @Bozley82. I will only fly QF though to get the status credits and you are paying the fare :)
