The way your shaves are going you had better invest in a wide angle lens pretty soon - maybe a fisheye? ;_

Shower
Rockwell 6S (3) with Lord Racer blade (1)
Proraso Red
Omega 48
Re-lather, warm rinse, Bulldog ASB

Tried out the mild plate with a sharp(ish) blade theory. It works - I got a couple of weepers but I was testing to see just how careless I could be, which was quite a lot as I am working on getting faster.

Still, this plate requires getting the angle just right at all times or it doesn't cut close enough for a BBS. Whereas plate 5 gives a lot more flexibility on that front - as long as I don't use pressure. So I'm still inclined to go for more efficiency instead - it reduces the number of passes for the same result and I know that if I do 3 passes I will get a reliable BBS and quickly. Just have to be careful about the pressure for the first couple of shaves on a new blade with the more efficient plates.

Progress short handle
London bridge (2)
RR Bruce Synth
Blues soap from NZ (aliexpress)
Nivea splash

It's soooo easy to load synth brushes. This is their strength as i need about half the product compared to natural bristle brushes but at the same time, overloading is easy and a pain cos it takes too long to get the lather where i like it.

This is what happened today and the lather wasn't quite as thin as i like and the shave felt a little rough on the skin.

Pre-Shave: @khun_diddy Olive Oil Soap, cold water
Razor: BBS-1
Blade: Voskhod (1)
Brush: Doug Korn D7V Romera Manchurian
Lather: Mystic Water Bergamot, Cedarwood & Juniper

An almost perfect shave with just a tiny weeper - you can't expected anything less from this wonderful razor and a stellar Mystic Water lather.

I hope you all have a terrific Tuesday (y)

Razor: Gillette Fat Boy (5)
Blade(s): Gillette 7 o'clock Yellow (1)
Brush: TF Lava Demon 26mm
Soap/Cream: B&M Lavanille
Post: Dickinsons

So received a shipment last nice in the way of four B&M products. I loved "42", "Petrichor" and "Soapmakers of Awesometown" and so thought to add to this stable of soaps. Can't say I am thrilled with this one off the bat, but again I have said this about so many other soaps which I now love! I read the description and it states it changes with use, so I hope that is the case. Will be trying Seville tomorrow and a quick run through the "Cologne Russe" and "Le Grand Chypre" before the end of the week, as I should have a shipment from Wholly Kaw by then to follow on with.

It was a bay rum kinda morning

Razor: Feather AS-D2
Blade(s): Polsilver (1)
Brush: TF Lava Demon 26mm
Soap/Cream: B&M Seville
Post: Dickinsons

Onto the next soap and Seville I like. Not much from the puck but after lathering quite a nice aroma that didn't however stick around for long. Plenty of lather though and customary slickness. Haven't used the Feather for a while and was wondering why not by the end of the shave. Paired to the Polsilver it provided me a smooth nick / weeper free shave. It seems to be a little better at getting under my nose than the Fat Boy as well. Still love my TTO adjustables though!

Razor: Colonial General with Windrose handle
Blade: Feather Pro (1)
Soap: Valobra Cologne
Brush: TF Amber and Ash Synthetic
Post: APR Aqua Di Sydney AS + EdP (sample)

Thoughts...
- A shave for the ages. Valobra comically pretends to have different scents but the performance is for the ages. Just OUTSTANDING and the best $25 I have spent on a soap. Three days growth gone in 3 passes without a weepers using my favourite razor. I am in heaven post shave and feel like a lord. Thank you travelling box for introducing us.
-APR's AdS is very underrated. In some ways the EdP with its secret darkness may be the greatest flowering of Dan's genius. Beautiful and I'm getting the EdP next time it's available.
