@Sxot this is really some great performing soap mate. @todras the scent absolutely changes to my nose when lathered as well. It brightens up quite a lot, and the florals come out more for me. I love it both off the dry puck and even more when lathered.

Shower
Fatip Grande with Lord Racer blade (5)
Col Conk Lime
P&C Platypus 26mm fan
Re-lather, warm rinse, Nivea Sensitive ASB

A lovely 3 pass BBS with no real damage. This was another day I got the hydration right on this soap (used as a shave stick) and it was actually pretty good. The scent is artificial but I'm not fussed about that. This balm is treating me well this time around - no zits this week and the post shave feel of this soap does benefit from some help.

Brush: Simpsons PJ2
Soap: APR, Lixiviant
Razor: Gem, Micromatic OC
Blade: Gem SS
Post: APR, Lixiviant

What better way to celebrate spring than with an APR spring release.
The MM OC continues to give an excellent close shave.

Have a great weekend.

Razor: Vintage Darwin Standard
Blade: Vintage NOS English Wilkinson Sword (3)
Brush: Vintage butterscotch Simpson AS2
Soap/Cream: Australian Private Reserve (APR) Coeur de Vert shaving soap
Aftershave Splash: Australian Private Reserve (APR) Coeur de Vert splash
Cologne: Australian Private Reserve (APR) Coeur de Vert EDP

Nice, if early morning, shave - have a great weekend guys!

I've never tried the astra soap but personally I prefer a bowl, I had several Arko bowls that all got used in short order but the one Arko stick I ever bought is sitting in the pantry with a ton of dust on it from when it feel down the gap between the basin and the shower.

Arko are a great shave stick, I have tabac in bowl, but would be interesting to try their shave stick also

Nice thing about the arko shave stick is that it lathers very easily ...... but not sure what using sticks is like when they get to end ...... probably messy or need press into a bowl .....

Pre: Warm Coconut Oil
Soap: Pb Pimento Kaolin Silk
Brush: Zenith Boar
Razor: Puma
Post: Jojoba/essential oil mix
Nice shave off the Puma today. I honed it couple of days ago and first shave off it was not brilliant. I occasionally find a straight shaves better after being 'rested' after honing. Does anyone else's experience equate to that?
Lovin' this bowl @Jase

PAA PRE-SHAVE SOAP
TIMELESS .68 SOLID BAR
VOSKHOD (3)
APR BAY CITY
24MM SILVERTIP
DR JON'S ANNE BONNY SPLASH

Nice relaxed Saturday morning shave. Really enjoyed APR's Bay city. The full size tub and aftershave are looking very tempting.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Pre: Musgo Real Glyce
Brush: Morris & Forndran Blonde Badger 28mm
Soap: L&L After the Rain
Razor: Boker King Cutter 5/8"
Strop: Kanayama
Post-shave: B&M Cool Reserve

A delightful morning shave. The vintage King Cutter is an ugly razor but it is probably my favourite edge. Sharp but smooth.

Date: 02 September 2017 is nearly 6:45am in West of London

Pre: - Cold Water straight from the tap
Brush: - RazoRock Plissoft Big Bruce Synth. 26/63mm knot
Lather: - Wilkinson Sword Shave Stick (european version grated into a plastic tub)
Razor: - Gillette Ball End Tech 1946-50
Blade: - Rapira Platinum Lux #4
Post: - Thayers Witch Hazel 'Unscented' / Bulldog Original Aftershave Balm
Fragrance: - Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male EDT

What a spot on description of the fragrance (y)

The first notes are the French Hay Absolute and Clover, the dry down is the mousse de saxe base ala Delaire. It's a perfect Spring fragrance in my book, with the slightly warmer weather it's just ideal I am finding.

Razor: ball end tech
Blade: Astra ss (1)
Soap: haslinger with lanolin
Brush: high mountain badger
Post: witch hazel and TSW balm
Sorry for the lack of super exciting descriptions this morning fellas, was very distracted with going to see the doctor, thankfully the test came back negative and I have more tests to come but not being diagnosed as diabetic has been a plus today.
The shave was fantastic, everything is just on point.

Wow!!! That brush handle .. where did you source it from?

It is nice hey. I love it. Its from DC Shaving, he's on etsy. Daniel made it originally for himself. He set a synthetic knot in it and then decided he didnt like the knot so sold it. I didnt like the knot either so pulled it out and set a 24mm Silvertip in it. Awesome brush.
