Yesterdays shave was so Fine (pun intended), I repeated it exactly (same pic) to see if it was a one-off.

Pleased to report it was NOT - the Vintage Schick Repeater delivered an amazing smooth finish in three passes. Amazing - such little blade feel and no audible feedback that the bigger SE blades give - yet just slays the stubble ​

Nearly the end of SEptember and time to bring out the Streamline, a fantastic SE (probably the best SE ever made).Apart from looking great it gives a close smooth trouble free BBS every time. To go with this excellent razor I used my favourite soap, aftershave and brush. A real treat!​

My technique with it has improved over the last few weeks and while I still find it a bit unwieldy and floppy, not having to soak it and how easily and quickly it dries make it a very attractive option most days. I'm convinced synthetic is the way to go for me, but will get a smaller knot in my next brush (whenever that might be).

A perfect shave with a wonderful post-shave - can't ask for much more and the Australian Private Reserve lather was also fantastic.

MdC Original / Semogue 620 Boar / Schick repeater + Schick blade (3) / Mont Blanc Legend Spirit Balm

Superb lather as always from the MdC - slick and protective.

The Schick repeater was also amazing. Felt a little rough on the ATG pass though - thought these blades would last a little longer. That's the only downside with injectors - hard to remove and rinse/dry the blade as I do with DE and other SE blades. So maybe some micro oxidation or something on the edge?​

I have become a creature of habit, or just lazy, the same continues - same soap, brush and blade and the result continues to please

I really wish I could identify this mystery soap I've been using, @nsavage if you or any other Adelaide members have a puck of MWF surplus to requirements I'm certain [ish] that is the soap. Very pleasing result.
