Hmm... I'm getting an overly aggressive shave on #2 and you're getting a mild shave on #3... Weird. I suspect we both need more time.

Maybe the Asylum needs a blade with a few shaves on it to help tone it down? A good shave from the Asylum today. No way I'd use it as a daily driver at this stage. Too hard on the face. @SchoolForAnts I promptly lost the AS sample when I got The Warden soap but found it last night. My wife gave it the tick this morning so into the wish list it goes.

Yesterday I got a nice shave but I felt some irritations the whole day.Today for the sake of it I decided to try a 3-Passes Shave with the Gillette (I usually do only one pass ATG).

Gosh

Nobrainer shave, easy DFS with Zero Alum feedback.

It s going to take a while for me to achieve a similar result my DE

MW 'Maestrale' / TSW Synth 28 / Gillette LC NEW with Bulldog handle and Silver (7) / Fine 'Santal Absolut'​

Absolutely bucketing with rain in Sydney this morning while shaving. The Mystic Waters again delivered a lovely fresh minty scented creamy lather and the LC NEW gave a BBS finish in three passes.

Good splash of Fine Santal Absolut to brighten this gloomy morning! This splash seems to last for ages compared to the other Fine splashes - seven hours later and I can still smell the Sandalwood.

Today's shave was a bit rushed, but the end result was still pleasing as the ATT S1 is a very forgiving razor. This Doug Korn brush is one of my absolute favourite handles - a piece of art and the Mikes lather was - as expected - sensational - ready for the weekend!
