Brush: Simpsons Classic 1
Razor: Wilkinson Sticky
Blade: Scottish Perma Sharp
Soap: Squadron Soaps Group Captain's Choice
A/S: PAA Alcohol Free Bay Rum

Preshave: Hot water splash
Razor/Blade: Timeless 0.95 & Perma Sharp (4th Shave)
Brush: TF Custom Silvertip
Soap: Sangre De Drago
Post shave: Hot water splash, then Alum Block then onto a Cold Water Splash, TSW Balm.
Aftershave: Sangre De Drago

Tonight, I just could not help myself, I just had to try out the new Timeless razor. I used the Perma Sharp blade from the Rockwell which is now on its fourth 3 pass shave, in hindsight I probably should have put a new blade in but not to worry. "Famous Last Words" I hear you all say. On with the shave !! I thought I would use the PAA soap as I know it produces a superb lather giving me good protection against the unknown should I need it. Well I was very pleasantly surprised with my WTG pass and then XTG and then ATG all with heaps of lather. Each pass was absolutely superb. The razor was kept at a minimal angle to my face and the audio feedback through this razor is awesome, so much so that I was comfortable to open up the angle a little more in certain areas. One tiny little nick around my mouth and a very slight touch of razor burn between my upper lip and nose but all in all a very enjoyable shave. I do think I will feel a lot more comfortable with the 0,68 head when it arrives but I am sure I will be visiting the 0.95 one again in the future. All in all a very enjoyable but slightly longer than usual shave :D

A nice mid week shave with the always reliable TOBS, the St James has a wonderfully subtle Sandalwood, Musk base with tops of Bergamot and Mandarin and is delivered by a subtle and unobtrusive design. A good lather for a commercial soap, again being glycerin based necessitates some extra water when lathering and I think this is often the reason why people consider the TOBS range average, they fail to add sufficient water to ensure the superb glide from the range.

A nice clean off with warm water after the usual two passes, the second day of the Derby Premium and it is still performing solidly delivering a nice, sharp clean shave - certainly a blade I will keep using and may even procure more of if today was anything to go by.

Have a successful day chaps, enjoy your shaves! :)

It's good stuff. Nice scent, very slick and lathers with ease. Full review will be coming next week.

I'm looking forward to the review @Nightguard prior to ordering most, if not all from @SchoolForAnts

I love Australian soaps, we have made and continue to make some absolutely excellent soaps in this country. There is something about our climate that ensures the soap makers here get it absolutely spot on.

Pre: Nil
Brush: Shavemac, 26mm D01 2 band, custom
Soap: SH - Arctic Mango
Blade: Tanifuji 6/8 full hollow square
Post: APR - pamplemousse injunction (aka Grapefruit Injunction)

Quick 2 pass today (WTG/ATG) and with the right soft/hardware is never a problem. @todras has hit yet another home run on this scent. It's not all grapefruit as I had feared. In the dry down, and long term it's well... powder to me. Almost barbershop-y - but hey, what do I know! Love it. I've topped up the menthol in the splash (unmentholated from OEM) and with the AM the cooth was very much appreciated on another 90% humidity 28deg NQld morning.

Pre-Shave: Cypriotian Olive/Argan Oil soap, cold water
Razor: RazoRock Stealth Slant V1
Blade: Ladas (1)
Brush: Morris & Forndran Finest Tigris
Lather: Stirling Bay Rum
Post-shave: Alum, Barrister & Man Kyovu Original, South Australian Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Always a great pleasure using the Stealth Slant - I really hope one day Joe will bring it back. The brush is really fantastic to use - a beast that eats up soap and produces some wonderful lather (picture here) - happy days (y)

Windsor Shaving Soap Travel Edition
Re-lather and cold rinse

2xWTG DFS with no irritation but one small cut due to my rush - gone by the end of the shave. My face enjoyed the break today from my recent ATG / BBS madness...

I got the Windsor soap in the job lot from @Cris. Lathered up by using this bar of soap like a shave stick with some extra loading on the brush and thought it was actually looking like a pretty decent, creamy lather. The problem showed itself half way through the first pass - that lather just disappeared! Looked great - and then it was gone. Had to re-lather half way through each pass because it just died each time...

I will give this soap one more chance though because I noticed when it was very wet it got really slick. I may have used too much product / not enough water? I will try a much wetter / weaker mix and see if that makes it better although I highly suspect it will be quite slick at the expense of cushion / protection. If that doesn't work it will make a nice body soap... and will become my new worst shave soap I have ever tried!

Razor: Vintage Gillette Flare Tip Rocket
Blade: Personna 'Lab Blue' (1/2)
Brush: Muhle Travel Brush
Soap/Cream: D R Harris Arlington Shave Stick
Post-shave: Stirling Soap Co - Ozark Mountain Balm

Well this is as good as it gets for me over the next couple of weeks.

Happy shaving guys!

Pre: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Antesol and Emulsion
Brush: Semogue 1800 Boar
Cream: Lea Classic
Razor: ATT Kronos open comb M2
Blade: Vintage Personna 74 (15)
Post: Myrsol Antesol and Emulsion

No photo, as my shower/shave was enforced by an unplanned drenching in ethylene glycol as I was sorting out my Son's overheated car engine.
The Lea Classic cream was again very impressive. Three passes and clean-up for BBS - not bad for a blade on its 15th outing.
