A very enjoyable Friday shave, manuel's lather in the non tallow is superb providing excellent scores on all metrics. An enjoyable two passes then on with the balm and APR aftershave which tops off the citrus notes of the soap to perfection. Really looking forward to the weekend as I start making the early formulations of the APR Autumn and Winter scents having spent the last month or two acquiring the necessary oils to do the fragrances justice.

Have a good Friday cobbers, we are almost there (y)

Soap: Squadron Soap's The Warden
Aftershave: Dr Jon's Classic
Brush: K Shave Worx Gamechanger

Thoughts...
- THIS SOAP! What a bargain for $16 with the P&C discount. This is a beautiful product and I can wholehearted recommend @SchoolForAnts soaps. Easy to lather, lots of cushion, excellent glide, great scent. It's got a burst of tobacco, I think, so I paired it with Dr Jon's. A nice combo. Because it was in a potentially oxidising tin, and is a lovely soft croap, I took out a bit for the first time and lathered that solely in the bowl. I feel SO damn clever.

Here's the profile: citrusy bergamot, with a bold strong base of vetiver, cinnamon bark, cedarwood and tobacco leaf. You can find all of the Squadron Soaps here.

Loving me some mighty mentholated Monsta Myrtle madness! Final day with the Tanifuji, what is next I don't know!

Feather AC DX non folding with pro blade (9ish)
Monsavon Bol a Raser
Omega 80266
Re-lather and cold rinse.

Another two pass WTG DFS. The Monsavon behaved itself admirably as I loaded a lot more product and water today. I will be using this one for awhile I think as the puck (I think originally it was a cream?) seems to be disappearing in the (poorly sealed) tub by itself. Easy to load with the boar brush but I don't think it's going to last long at this rate. But that is fine - using more product means the shaves are better and I can move on to another soap earlier! I have too many to work through as it is from my job lot. But I have really noticed how much these humble products have improved now that I am being a lot more generous with the amount of product...

Since other people don't have any issues it must be on your end? Maybe have a chat with @SpeedyPC - he said something about security settings in the browser...

You really want to see this picture ;)

Just a hint - think twice before you order the big breakfast ...

Preshave: Hot water splash
Razor/Blade: ATT Atlas (0.58) & Voskhod (1st Shave)
Brush: TF Custom 24mm Synthetic
Soap: Crown King, The Kiss
Post shave: Hot water splash, then Alum Block then onto a Cold Water Splash, Thayers Original.
Aftershave/Cologne: Crown King, The Kiss

Well this shaving addiction that I have or should I say we all have is getting more and more addictive because every shave I seem to be having just keeps getting better and better.
Tonight was the first run with the ATT and used the middle base plate and found it to be probably right their where I need it to be. Swinging and holding the shorter handle compared to the Timeless was a little different but soon got into the swing of it.
The Kiss soap was absolutely amazing as far as whipping up a lather, either that or my synthetic is working wonders. So far I am loving the synthetic. Now back to the soap I am not great with the scents but this one really has something that I liked. My wife said it smelt musky and very nice I think the lilac was kicking in but whatever it is its awesome !! The lather was good under shave but I felt that it was not as slick as what I would have liked but none the less no cuts, nicks or weepers and using the Thayers after got my skin feeling just fine. Once I applied the aftershave/cologne the scent just got stronger and I am loving it. I think I have another new favourite :D
Scent Profile:-
Top Notes:- Bergamot, Lilac, Anise, Balsam, Torchwood (Amyris - citrusy resin)
Middle Notes:- Coumarin, Cardamon
Base Notes:- Gingergrass, Tobacco

Chatillon Lux Fourth & Pine Aftershave

Bracing for another hot and humid day, 2 passes with the fantastic SCS Hespiride (Herb,Citrus, A little rose) then on with the Chatillon Lux salve and then the aftershave. The aftershave is mentholated and it works well with the fragrance (Neroli, Yuzu,Lavender, etc) and it was dosed fairly strong by Shawn I gather, fairly bracing but very suitable in this brutal humidity.

Have a bloody good day :)
