Finally tried Arko. I'm still recovering from this flu from hell so my sense of smell isn't reliable but I didn't have a negative reaction to the lemon burst. Lovely performance and better than Proraso IMHO.

Fine Friday
Rockwell R4 w/Polsilver
Muhle STF2 23mm
Fine Fresh Vetiver soap
Anherb balm

So Fridays are now Fine Fridays. Since I have the entire set of Fine soaps, I'll rotate through them on Fridays.

Fresh Vetiver is a great scent. Very pleasing and I find it fairly robust (3.5/5 to my nose).

Not much to say about the lather...rich and creamy as always!

Prep: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: Paladin Lotus Select Badger
Soap: Boellis Panama 1924
Razor: Merkur Futur (2)
Blade: Vintage NOS Personna Super Platinum Chrome (1)
Post: Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel / Myrsol Emulsion
Scent: Loris Azzaro Pour Homme

Another wonderful shave. The Merkur Futur certainly seems to like vintage blades, and the Personna SPC is very sharp yet so smooth. The Boellis Panama 1924 soap is simply wonderful in every respect. Three passes and a couple of buffs and I'm BBS.

Glad you are enjoying that soap - you seemed very excited to get it!

Pre-Shave: SebaMed, cold water
Razor: Guerrilla
Blade: Ladas (1)
Brush: Paladin Lotus
Lather: Stirling Bay Rum
Post-Shave: Alum, Thayers Original Alcohol Free Witch Hazel, South Australian Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Beautiful shave with the Guerrilla today and the Stirling lather was just perfect - but no matter what I do, the Paladin handles always look shinier :)

I hope you all have a fantastic Friday (y)

Brush: PAA Atomic Rocket
Razor: Rockwell 6S (R4)
Blade: Crystal (3 & 4)
Scuttle/Bowl/Mug: Fine lathering bowl
Soap: Tabula Rasa Dezember
Post: Witch Hazel & Tea Tree Oil + Australian Cream Lemon & Tea Tree moisturising cream

An eventful face & head shave with the 6S on my favourite plate R4. Lets just say today's combination worked great for the face but not so great on my noggin (n) The lather was too slick and really not the right consistency for my head resulting in a SAS with plenty of room for improvement :( Might try my Merkur 34C with a sharper blade next head shave as I can still feel some slight patches around my crown and behind the ears. No irritation or major nicks so not too bad and nothing a bennie can't cover... Have a great weekend

I was seriously worried when you posted no lather shot yesterday, it's a mark of stability in this community that you post either the Stirling or Mikes lather shot

I thought it was just me and heavy loading ...but I got the "blue circle of doom" in the bottom of the tub after three uses!;)

We are thinking about a 1.5kg tub as I was using a 32mm Polo a couple of weeks ago and only got 2 shaves from the 125g puck!
