PILS - Polsilver
Xerjoff Oud Stars Zafar
Cheeky little cow shit smothered Blue cheese wife repellent opening today.

Pre: Warm water, Crew oil
Razor: Karve D
Blade: Feather (1)
Bowl: Handmade bowl, Mk1
Brush: RazoRock Silvertip Synthetic
Soap: APR Coolabah
Post: Witch Hazel, APR Coolabah Splash.

Spring like weather in Canberra today and the Acacia pycnantha's (Wattles) are flowering . Felt the urge to break out the APR Coolabah, love the the scent and performance. (y) The D plate felt a tad aggressive however three passes for a BBS.
Have a good week gents.

Weekend's shave (Saturday am):

Tatara Masamune & Astra Superior Platinum (#2 and out)
APShave Co. uBrush SilkSmoke 24mm
Saponificio Bignoli 'Violet', face lather
Epsilon Blue Mediterranean
Room temp water spray

Second shave with the Masamune solid bar. This could easily be my travel razor. The kind of small handle diameter, the overall compactness of the set, and the terrific machining + finish make it a good choice for a 'second' razor. Shave-wise I do not think it is something exceptional. It does the job, the angle of approach (to the face) could be broader, it is terribly efficient but it is effective.

The Bignoli soaps arrived on Friday. I gave this soft soap a go just after received, bowl but also face lather, and it is pretty dense - a small quantity goes a long way (in Castle Forbes style). The Violet appears a tad softer in constitution when compared to the Agrumi, so today I was careful with the brush and decided to load directly from the tub. The Violet scent is slightly on the feminine side, and while it is described as "sweet" I dare say that to me it is just a bit on the 'dark' side. Think of something like C&S O&C style, and personally I do find it interesting to discover a violet variant like that in a shaving soap.

tomorrow I will go back to bowl lathering as I reckon I already had to many face lathers in a row.
Quite satisfactory shave, considering the blade is in its fourth use and did behave really well!
I am starting to think that this splash bottle is broken and the content is evaporating. Well, maybe is me that abuses it! It was funny that I remembered it is mentholated after I liberally splash it all over my face and made my cry :ROFLMAO:

Now that is dedication. Well played, Agent 66!

I was right - a cracking goods shave!

Wonderful shave with a full 3 days growth. Went with the 5 plate and a brand new Polsilver for 3 passes to get a super close shave with only a small rough patch on neck which I didn’t want to go too hard on and get razor burn.

Very happy with the soap and only the second time I’ve used the donkey stuff!

Hope the rest of the week goes this well!

Browsing P&C on my wifi enabled flight - so I could have posted SOTD this morning it seems

Not sure what Ithink about this option while flying.

Soap: Pb Tonka n Tamanu V2
Brush: Vie Long Horse/Badger
Razor: Asylum Rx
Blade: Feather Pro Guard (2)
AS: Pb TnT
Some annoying loss of efficiency with the Pro Guard blade. The TnT performed well with the Asylum.
We're actually getting some rain. The new pup sat on the back doorstep this morning wondering what it was.

Pre: Warm water
Razor: Rockwell 6S (R5)
Blade: Astra SP (1)
Brush: Simpson Chubby 2 Synthetic
Soap: Barrister's Reserve Cool
Post: Barrister & Mann Seville

Like @tim33z the R5 and a fresh blade swept through the weekend growth with ease, with just an annoying nick on the chin the only downside.

Have a great week all.

What can I say, @todras I take my hat off to you sir. The scent on this soap is sublime. I now have Skye Fall, Fenchurch and Velours Noir and they are all impeccable scents. The profile of this soap is layered, dark and mysterious and I love it. As always, flawless performance from the soap, and BBS after two passes. However, due to me feeling a bit confident with this blade I changed the angles on my cheek and ended up with a 1cm nick. I find the point of this blade really sharp and I need to pay it more respect.

I think that I have APR S.A.D. I'm heading over to the website now to see what is in stock. How lucky we are to have such an awesome Australian artisan soap maker in our midst.

Semouge 830
Face Fat Shaving Lavander Soap
TSW After Balm
Chatillon Lux Champs De Lavande Splash

Lavander scents are starting to grow on me. Maybe a bit for it today though. Seems like a wasted Darkfall or Leviathan chance lol.

Face lathered the soap, it definitely preformed better from the bowl. However I didn't soak the brush for as long as I usually do.

Pre- Cold water
Razor- EJ DE89
Blade- Wilky classic
Soap- Fine L'Orange
Brush- EJ Synthetic
Post- Thayers witch hazel cucumber with tea tree oil added, L'Orange splash
