@lu20vt, do you have a whole collection of Atelier Durdan razors? Some people collect wolfmen, but these are much prettier.

Nah
Pre-shave: Hot flannel, Pears soap
Brush: TroyCraft "Polar Nocturne" 28mm AP Titanium
Soap: Yardley
Razor: Atelier Durdan Vestige
Blade: Personna GEM Stainless
Post-shave: TND witch hazel, homebrew moisturiser, La Roche-Posay SPF50+ Invisible Fluid, Oxford & Cambridge cologne
COTD: Ismaili Selection, Yemen
A few years ago I picked up a puck of Yardley just to remind myself of where it all started for me in the '70s. Since then, I may have got a little carried away. This is how the current stash stands...
Time to stop perhaps.
I normally go 400 (or lower if needed), 600, 1k, 2k W&D them finish with Autosol - all by hand.400 then 800 w/d paper and WD-40. Finished with a Dremel buffing wheel with rouge.
I can think of no reason to.

Ah good to know - I have a Dremel - rarely use it. There's a use for it! I'll have to raid my wife's rouge (joking about that bit) lol400 then 800 w/d paper and WD-40. Finished with a Dremel buffing wheel with rouge.
NO!!

My fingers were getting tired so that’s when the Dremel comes into play. When finished, I then had to set the bevel, go through a progression of stones and then diamond pasted balsa for completion. Took me just under three hours with a couple of short breaks while I watched the cricket.I normally go 400 (or lower if needed), 600, 1k, 2k W&D them finish with Autosol - all by hand.
Razor: KROPP 6/8 full hollow
Brush: Dscosmetics/Boti 26mm horsehair
Cream: Jack The Barber
Looks a whole lot better than when I received it a few days ago:
A blast from the past (2019), Looks like an interesting combination of scents, though one I'd probably avoid due to the patchouli content. But that's just me.Soap/Cream:- Pb 40 Thieves (sample) - thanks @Pbgoose
Don't see too many of the FLIC's getting round. Looks in good order.
I received it in good condition. Just needed minor cleaning/polishing, and of course honing. They were made by Max Voos (the VO in DOVO) and exported to Australia, New Zealand and the USA in the 1930's.Don't see too many of the FLIC's getting round. Looks in good order.
Thank you, did not know that. I like the distinctive mellow crunch of the old blade when shaving with mine.I received it in good condition. Just needed minor cleaning/polishing, and of course honing.
